An investigation is underway for the crash, which appears to involve a big rig and a passenger vehicle. The concrete barrier in the center of the freeway suffered damage as well. All traffic is being forced off the road and the backups are considerable. Drivers should expect lengthy delays and are advised to avoid the area. There's no word how long the repairs and clean up will take.
