Arsenal confirmed two departures this week, with full-back Sead Kolasinac joining Olympique Marseille after his contract was terminated while fellow defender Pablo Mari joined Udinese on loan. Former Newcastle United and Paris Saint-Germain attacker Hatem Ben Arfa has joined Ligue 1 champions Lille on a free transfer, having been without a club since end of last season when he left Bordeaux.

There were also two departures at Manchester City this week, with Patrick Roberts securing a permanent move to League One side Sunderland while Tommy Doyle has joined Championship outfit Cardif City on loan.
