It 'packs a punch'
Customers are praising a mini electric heater for its effectiveness and affordability as households continue to look for ways to save on energy costs. An Amazon product is giving people another option to central heating.
Amazon's portable mini electric fan heater has received a number of positive reviews on the site, mainly five stars. The heater has been praised for its quality and effectiveness, and consumes around one quarter of the energy when compared to a typical heater, reports AA. In energy costs the mini heater costs around 14p per hour, in comparison to 56p per hour for a usual heater. When heating bills go up on October 1, that gap will widen to 17p of the mini heater and 68p of a general one, reports Lancashire Live. The portable heater can be plugged directly into the mains, with the body being the plug. There are controls on the heater, but it also comes with a remote so that it can be controlled from across the room.
One customer review said: "Packs a punch, surprised about the size but easy to install, easy to use high low fan settings and not bad at taking the chill out of a room, very pleased.” Another said: “Ideal for warming up a room in between central heating cycles, saves pressing the advance button on the main heating.”
A third said: “Liked how small it is but yet so effective, able to warm up the room only for small spaces though for maximum impact.” The mini heater is currently the most energy efficient fan on Amazon's bestselling list, and is also included in Amazon's top 50 bestselling kitchen and home appliances. The Portable Mini Electric Fan Heater can currently be purchased on Amazon for £12 rather than £14.99 due to a 20% off sale.
