A huge 114 hours of snow could hit the UK soon thanks to a blast of polar air, according to new forecast maps. WXCharts' predictions show a dark purple formation signalling snow across a large part of the country on March 30.
It now looks like the mercury will drop towards the end of the month as a harsh weather front comes down from the north. The Midlands could meanwhile see significant snowfall, with the northeast and northwest also seeing snow around March 28. Temperatures in the southeast of England may drop to between 2C and 4C, reports Express.co.uk, and fall below freezing in areas further north, reports the Mirror.
