An 11-year-old was wounded by gunfire while inside a vehicle Sunday afternoon in central Oak Cliff, Dallas police say.
Officers responded about 4:30 p.m. to reports of a shooting the 4000 block of South Polk Street, near West Pentagon Parkway. Investigators said an unknown shooter fired into a vehicle and struck the child in the leg. The 11-year-old, who was not named by police, was taken to a hospital and was stable, authorities said., Breaking News Reporter
