A subway surfer in Brooklyn has died, sparking delays throughout the MTA system.

It wasn't immediately clear how he fell.Train service was severely impacted in the area. F trains were running with heavy delays and G train service was limited.
Interim NYC Transit President Demetrius Crichlow said in a statement that the death was"another avoidable heart-wrenching reminder that riding outside trains is not a game and the subway is not a social media studio." The MTA has worked with social media companies to remove videos showing subway surfing.The alarming trend of teens risking their lives subway surfing for social media fame has led to at least half dozen deaths this year.
