Ten current or former East Cleveland police officers appeared in court on Tuesday to answer to more than 50 criminal charges accusing them of violating the civil rights of multiple people over a two-year period.
The officers pleaded not guilty through their attorneys to charges that include felonious assault, interfering with civil rights, dereliction of duty, tampering with records, theft in office and telecommunications fraud.
