Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic introduced many Force abilities that had never been seen before in Star Wars canon. Here are just a few of them
Summary SCREENRANT VIDEO OF THE DAY SCROLL TO CONTINUE WITH CONTENT When Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic initially released, an entire roster of new Force powers were introduced along with it. In order to give players solid goals to achieve and powers to gain, this was necessary both from a plot and gameplay standpoint. However, many of these Force powers are not considered canon - though a number were later incorporated into the broader Star Wars media canon.
10 Battle Meditation Made famous by Jedi Knight Bastila Shan, Battle Meditation is a powerful Force ability that allows the user to move entire armies. A Jedi or Sith can use this ability to inspire the soldiers they fight alongside. In the process, the enemy is demoralized as well.
8 Slow Force Slow was an ancient dark side power utilized by the Sith. This power uses the Force like a poison, sapping enemies of their strength and leaving them to die a slow, painful death. Despite how interesting a Force ability like this could be, this power is not canon and has only ever been seen in Legends content.
5 Drain Life An eerie power known only to those on the dark side of the Force, Drain Life allows a powerful Sith to slowly steal the life of another in order to heal themselves. Although this ability seemed to have been relegated to non-canon for many years, it was brought to canon with The Rise of Skywalker. Palpatine never used Force drain on Yoda, but he does on Rey and Ben Solo in Episode IX in an attempt to bring himself back to full power, stealing their energy in the process.
