5 Wonder Woman While Wonder Woman included Ares — who killed all the other Old Gods in the DCEU — as the movie's ultimate villain, the character was done so poorly that it would probably have been better if he wasn't in the DCEU film at all. Wonder Woman's final fight with Ares was not the best, with David Thewlis delivering an over-the-top performance as the God of War, who ended up being killed by Diana Prince rather easily for someone who murdered all the Old Gods.
