A Broadview crash involving at least 2 cars resulted in the vehicles hitting a resale shop at Roosevelt and 17th Avenue.
BROADVIEW, Ill. -- One person was killed and another seriously injured in a crash involving two cars and a Pace bus Monday morning in west suburban Broadview.
Broadview police said a black Kia sedan was reportedly traveling at a high rate of speed west on Roosevelt and hit a green minivan that was traveling south on 17th. One of the vehicles also struck a Pace bus, which was stopped at the intersection, causing minor damage, but there were no injuries to the three individuals on board, police said.The driver of the minivan was taken to Loyola University Medical Center, where she was pronounced dead.
Police believe the Kia went through a red light before hitting the minivan, which was in the intersection.
