Thousands of pounds worth of cosmetics were stolen from a Nottinghamshire Boots store
. Nottinghamshire Police have issued a CCTV image of a man they would like to speak to in connection with the theft of £1,400 worth of cosmetic products from the shop.
Boxes of eye serum were stolen from the store, in St Peter’s Retail Park, Mansfield, at around 10.35am on Sunday, June 18, said Nottinghamshire Police. . Police Constable Beth Richards, of Nottinghamshire Police, said: “Shoplifting is not a victimless crime. Offences of this sort can have a hugely detrimental impact on retailers and wider communities.
"We have carried out initial inquiries but are now asking the public to assist us in identifying who this person might be - as he could help aid our investigation."Do you know who this man is? Were you in the store at the time?" Police are asking anyone with information is asked to call 101, quoting incident number 367 of June 19. Alternatively, people can contact independent charity, Crimestoppers, anonymously on 0800 555 111.
